Old Down woods became part of the Elms Farm in the 1990s at which time it was badly maintained. Since being part of the Farm all fences have been replaced and over 2500 new trees have been planted. Almondsbury Dog & Pony Show
Every July, The Elms Farm makes Park Field available for the Almondsbury Dog & Pony show. David Spratt who farms this field kindly cuts the hay crop the week before this community event. A week later the pony club use the field before cows return to graze.
Olveston Pre-School Forest School
The Elms Farm supports education and child wellbeing. The local pre-school have a forest school area on the farm which is enjoyed by 3-5 year old children.
