Woodland Management

The Elms Farm is responsible for areas of woodland in Sheepcombe valley, at ‘Worm Pits’ next to the motorway, at Moor Lane and at the Elms Farm itself. There are also many miles of hedges bordering roads which required trimming, pruning or on occasion, felling to ensure the safety of all. Recent work has included the removal of dead elm trees. We are committed to replanting at least one tree for every tree felled.
